Abdulmalik Adakole Amali is a Reader at the Department of the Performing Arts at University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Amali was awarded the best graduating student in painting from the Department of Creative Arts at the University of Maiduguri, Borno state, Nigeria. He holds a Masters and a Doctorate from the Department of Performing Arts, University of Ilorin. Since 2011, Amali has been teaching and researching at the university of Ilorin. His research areas include technical theatre, scenography, costume, props, theatre aesthetics, performance, and cultural studies.
