Mr. Femi Yinka Atteh

Femi Atteh is a distinguished Theatre Historian, gender relations scholar, and Cultural Critic affiliated with the Department of Performing and Film Arts at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. With over a decade of expertise, Atteh’s research endeavors are deeply rooted in the propagation and preservation of Nigerian indigenous traditions, folklore, and cultural heritage. His scholarly pursuits are informed by an early immersion in theatrical performances, complemented by rigorous training in the Thespian arts. Atteh’s academic interests lie in celebrating the unique cultural idiosyncrasies of indigenous societies, thereby contributing to a nuanced understanding of Nigeria’s rich cultural landscape.
